Artist Statement

Hello, I am Heike Seyffarth, a Germany-based artist with passion for generated art, selling digital and analog pictures.

My inspiration comes from everyday situations and old and new works of art. Creating art is my way to think about life and world. My works deal with identity, individuality, and phantasy.

After finding or receiving an idea for a new series, I usually write a computer program to do the boring work of trying variations, selecting colors, and combining forms. After specifying a possibility space and some restrictions in these programs, the programs’ execution creates hundreds or even thousands of variants from which I select valid results afterwards.

I sell digital and analog pictures. Customers may specify their requests concerning sizes or colors.
